Stress Reduction for Family/Friends in Addiction group runs from January 14 through March 4

Addiction is a family disease. But sometimes it feels like you’re all alone. If you are a family member or close friend of an addicted individual it’s likely that you too suffer emotionally and physically as you try to cope with the rollercoaster life in addiction.

But everyone needs to heal, not just the addicted person. Not only will it improve your health but give you a foundation of coping skills from which to help your loved one.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) groups have been used for decades to help people with depression, anxiety, chronic pain and other forms of stress. This group, MBSR for Families and Friends in Addiction is a course exclusively for family members and friends of an addicted individuals.

This program will take the foundations of MBSR and address them from the perspective of the challenges you are currently facing, providing you with the knowledge and skills to face the uncertainty of addiction from a space of strength and compassion. So that you too find healing on this journey.
