Mindfulness Training for Smoking Cessation is a 7 week group + one day retreat for individuals interested in smoking cessation.

You may have tried to quit, even several times. But Mindfulness Training for Smoking or MTS is completely new to the TriState. Developed out of Duke University along with the top addiction and mindfulness researchers in the country, this unique intervention is more effective in helping you quit than standard methods.
There are 7 weekly sessions plus a one day retreat the Sunday between class #5 and #6. That's your quit date. Prior to that you will learn the skills necessary to manage cravings, urges, and withdrawal. The power of your group offers participants additional support. Participants are encouraged to discuss medical options with their physician to compliment the mindfulness skills and cognitive training learned each week.
You will have lifetime access to all the online videos, an extensive workbook and meditations.
